Write Stuff Workshops

Where everyone’s a writer

Everyone has a story to tell, and everyone is a writer. Write Stuff Workshops help you ignite your creativity and harness the power of writing for wellbeing.

Writing can give us a powerful way to tell our stories, process our thoughts, express ourselves and connect with others. It doesn’t matter what you write, it matters that you write.

These creative writing workshops are accessible and non-pretentious. They are open to all levels of writing ability, and focus on ways to make writing fun, creative and enjoyable. Most include group work, writing prompts, creative writing exercises and opportunities to write and reflect.

About me

I hold a BA in English Literature from The University of Sussex and have been writing professionally for almost 20 years in PR, communications, journalism and copywriting. I’ve written for publications including Stylist, Red, Insider and Glamour, I edit The Independent Oxford Magazine and am currently working on my first novel. I’m an experienced workshop host, am trained in delivery engaging writing workshops, and have hosted workshops for organisations including Treehouse Festival, Marmalade Festival, OXLEP, OSEP and Independent Oxford. I bring a focus on mindfulness and wellbeing to workshops; I am a former yoga teacher, and taught both publicly and in workplaces.

I want to help everyone reap the rewards of writing. I know first hand how transformative a writing practice can be. In moments when I’ve been feeling lost, having a creative writing project on the go has given me a sense of purpose, meaning and belonging.
